 new roads
we have this same problem in this area there is constant change. i have found that paying special attention to the creeks and valleys then you can get a better idea where you are. for example i was searching for a specific area, and by my topo's my access was the 2nd left after entering the pink mountain forest service rd. problem was there was a bunch of new roads and covered in snow i could not really get good sense as to what was old road and what was new. my saving was that on my map i could see that there were 4 creeks to cross then my road and this is how i found it.
