I use the spider wire in R/C Airplanes for bracing and push/pull control lines. I never thought of doing this though. I have an Armageddon and have been trying different handles. I prefer this allot. Thank you for posting the results of real wear and tear. |

It's a Mini Firesteel. I didn't use any epoxy or anything, just the Spider Wire. I just wrapped it in such a way the loose ends are pinned by a loop under the tight wrapping.
Here's a pic of the repaired keychain loop on the car remote. The Spider Wire looks a little frayed, but it's still quite solid. I think the plastic on the remote would break before the Spider Wire does.
