It's a Mini Firesteel. I didn't use any epoxy or anything, just the Spider Wire. I just wrapped it in such a way the loose ends are pinned by a loop under the tight wrapping.

Here's a pic of the repaired keychain loop on the car remote. The Spider Wire looks a little frayed, but it's still quite solid. I think the plastic on the remote would break before the Spider Wire does.
