Swamprat, I use the Pocket Cooker as a backup to my battery powered Zip Stove all the time. It works well, for being basically just a platform for sticks and pinecones with a chimney. Not as quick or efficient as the Zip, since it has no blower, but in a pinch, it's pretty darn good.
