And I just took these pictures for you bud. Haven't even taken the plastic off off the bite valve yet. It's called the stoaway and purchased it for 34.99 at a local outfitters called hubert's. Hope this helps.

I am very interested in how the winter Camelbak StoAway peforms in below zero F temperatures (say, -20F).

Even when I blow the water back after taking drinks my regular CamelBak eventually freezes shut. This has happened enough so that when its about 0F degrees or less I use regular water bottles.

I would have to carry it under my coat up here. The temps here will freeze that really fast.

We must try it this winter, temps in my neck of the woods get -20F easy., A great test
for the winter P.O.G!

This will be carried in my water bladder of my atmos 50 pack. The bladder itself and part of the tubing inside the pack will be wrapped in a 300 weight fleece fabric I cut out of my old north face denali jacket.

Spent so much time over the years hiking/exploring in minus -30 to -60 wind chills have developed an uncanny ability to keep water from freezing. One thing I don't do is feed the tubing through the pack straps so I can tuck it away quickly and its not exposed to snow/wind etc. I just keep the bitevalve out the end of the pack. If I need a sip I take it and slide the tube back in the pack.

Will let you all know how it works out.
