Default why they cant agree

this is interesting, apparently the reason they cant agree on co2 emmisions is because the the west is cutting down for the lost part while india. china etc are building up which makes sense till we find that the countries who now produce the cheap stuff we like because we closed all our factories down are demanding that the co2 quota for these goods is added to our tallies.

pretty fair point I reckon but they reckon it could triple americas figures and double a lot of countries like the uk.

same goes for airplanes their emmisions are denied by countries like the uk who are a transit hub as they would add nearly 10% to our figures at the stroke of a pen.

Not to mention that they say the emissions cause our planet to heat up, which is like trying to heat a five gallon pot full of water with a hair dryer. Just doesn't add up. It is from the core, and the one thing you won't hear from the whole Gore camp is that all of our planets in our particular solar system are experiencing explosive climate changes as well.

We're on the verge of entering into the photon belt of the center of our galaxy, which means we're having a crap load of electromagnetic rays passing through everything. Not to mention that a pole shift is likely to occur and that we're actually in the initial stages of it, which could easily trigger the explosive discharge of literally every volcano on the face of the planet, ushering us into a 40 year dark age of soot, smog and ash, which supposedly happened already a few times the Earth's past, destroying highly advanced civilizations that existed at the time before our present recorded history.

I agree. Let's draft a bill in Congress officially laying the blame for our rising temps and carbon footprint squarely where it belongs: on the doorstep of the Martians from Atlantis (or is that Atlantians from Mars? I never can keep that straight!)

LaRemnant, don't let the enviro twits hear about the rest of the solar system's climate changes, they'll just claim that our pollutants are so out of control that we're effecting every planet in our solar system with our polluting ways. I've visited people in psych wards and I've never encountered a diagnosed crazy person who says nearly as much off the wall stuff as the environmentalists do.

Many years ago I was introduced to a charismatic young man named Terrance Freitas. Terry was passionate about helping the U'wa indians of
Columbia/Venezuela defend their ancestral lands from oil company exploitation. The U'wa were caught between FARC revolutionaries, government paramilitaries and oil company security forces. The U'was said simply if their 'mother's blood was stolen' they would commit mass suicide. Terry went down one last time with a native hawaiian-american and a indian activist from Michigan. Their bullet riddled bodies were later found on the border, which group murdered them unanswered to this day.

The oil company was OCCIDENTAL OIL of Los Angeles, of who a large, million dollar plus shareholder is one AL GORE. This is why I voted for Ralph Nader people mock in another thread.
BORE-GORE has stolen the environmental mantle from people DEAD because of his greed. He is no more a environmentalist than he is a 'Vietnam veteran' for typing reports in Saigon for 6 weeks.

You people have a RIGHT to disagree with environmentalists. But please, show some mutual respect for people who only care about our home as much as we do.People, who walk their walk and not just talk.

Hey, I have no problem with reasonable environmentalists, but they don't generally call themselves environmentalists. When I say enironmental whackos and such, I'm referring to nutjobs that come up with silly ideas like moving millions of people and tearing down entire communities to save some endangered species of dung beatle. People like, well, Al Gore....lol...who come up with crazy theories to propagate their own personal and/or political agendas; and those who are simply crazier than a five winged bat with three heads.

'Reasonable' Means people who compromise and back down. And 'wackos' has become the poster boy for those who don't. It's not unlike popular culture hearing people are posting on survivial websites and instantly think of Ruby Ridge,Rudolph the Red, Illinois Nazis in The Blues brothers and... well I hope you get the idea.

Why I agree that most enviros are nuttier than squirrel turds, I've worked with the criminally insane for 8 years, & well, I've seen & heard some truely bizarre sh*t in my day. NOTHING surprises me anymore.

LOL, Yeah, they keep the criminally insane seperate from the "normal" insane here, so I wasn't and never would include them in that statement.
