Default FireSteel Tubes

I got around to making a video showcasing our new FireSteel Tubes. Thanks Mac for the t-shirt, I'll wear it always!

The smaller FireSteel Tubes haven't been posted yet, but they will be available sometime in the next week or two.

These Tubes are alot of fun as well as being handy, and I think some of you would enjoy trying them out.

Great vid and great product - I am telling everyone about them...

If there was ever one thing to improve on with the firesteel - it was the handle. This goes well beyond just a handle but also a water tight case for tinder for at least 5 starts to a fire.

Cant go wrong with this.

PS - Glad you like the shirt - when that one wears out - use it to make char cloth for in one of these containers and I'll get you another!

Huh, an Essential Survival T-shirt. Looks nice. Mac, You NEED to get Ryun to update that website or I am going to have an aneurysm!

I am waiting for the Ranger sized tube. I like that A LOT. If I camped all of the time I would definitely get the armageddon one, but since I spend a lot of time in the city, I wouldn't want to have to explain to someone that I REALLY DO have a firesteel.com firesteel "tube" in my pocket!

I can't claim to be much of a prophet; but, I predict this will become the new benchmark in survival firestarting gear! I love it!

Yes, even though the firesteel.com firesteels can stand alone, I honestly think Ron and the collaborating gentleman really set a precedent with this tool!

I honestly wonder... there's got to be some way to market these... and in a way that benefits not only Ron (who really deserves to get a free lunch now once in a dang while!), but (as Ron stated once) the community. Hhmmm

uh oh, I think I feel a monster squirming around being birthed in my grey matter!

Default Marketing idea!

Hey Ron,

A thought...there are number of internet and YouTube survival sites that review products on a regular basis. On YouTube, one that especially comes to mind is nutnfancy: YouTube - nutnfancy's Channel.

I'd bet that if you sent him a free, review sample that he'd do a video on it, and you'd likely see a spike in orders.

Just a thought...

I already asked him (nutnfancy) like a month ago if he will do a review if I send him the 5 pack. I am still waiting for his reply. Maybe if Ron contacted him he might reply since I am a nobody....

What about those ads on the side? Heck, that RS6 Blades guy is doing it, why can't we?

I am looking for the thread where Ron mentioned some epoxy(?) for sticking the firesteel into some handle. What kind of adhesive was that, and what I really want to know, is if that is actually better than Gorilla glue?

Oh, and please, do not answer all at the same time, okay?
