thanks. this idea is flexible, the more you cut off the more burn time you can get. its lightweight and easy to carry in different places. my next experiment will be to see how long it burns if I light one end and let it all go up.

I'm considering myself having multi-staged fire starting capability w/ my gear:

1. firesteel and nature only

2. char cloth - ability to catch a single spark; from the back of my Mora if needed

3. jute tinder fob - 30 seconds to 3 minutes + as needed

4. TJ Balls - 10 minute + burn time for wet conditions when don't have time or desire to look to hard for dry stuff (can be used 99.9% of the time)

5. Elpids Tea Buddy Burner - 30 minute burn time for winter emergency gotta have fire or die
