Was flipping throught a hemp jewlery book at craft store waiting for my wife and came across something that gave me the idea for this creation. A pouch created with alternating square knots. if you can tie your shoes you can do this. I looked over the details, went home and made this - a jute firebag. It contains all that you see in the picture; and currently uses a 6' piece of
paracord w/ double fisherman's knot. This allows it to be adjustable from 3' (for neck wear) to 6' to wear over shoulder/neck like a woman may wear a purse. got a ranger
firesteel, char cloth, tj pj ball, scraper, mini bic and match book. in a pinch I could use the bag itself for hundreds of fires (uses about 40' of jute). recently went to stormdrains blog to link something for cowboy and saw his most recent posts were paracord sacs using similar approach w/ different knot techniques.
