A nurse told me to use hand sanitizer (with alcohol) on my hands and then cup my hands over my nose and inhale the alcohol vapors to reduce virus load in the nostrils. I don't know if it works, but it sure does sting.

The healthier you are the better you will deal with infection.

Definitely do what you can to avoid contact, but that is only the first line of defence. To be healthy you need to eat well and need to exercise, it’s that simple...oh yeah and quit smoking.

Also try to avoid stressing out your system. You might be sitting on H1N1A1 and not know it until you go on an all night bender and wake up sick as a...pig.

It is a difficult question to answer given my ignorance. Intuitively I don’t see the H1N1A1 as being different than any other influenza. People get the flu...some die. Every year (for millennia) there is a flu pandemic, but we are used to it and the consequent mortality. Vulnerable groups have been getting vaccinated for years now against the “common” flu, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t get vaccinated for this “uncommon” flu.

I don’t like the flu, and would rather not get it. I would rather not die from it. However I fear that, as with most things, we are managing the flu with short sightedness. It’s not like polio in so much that we get vaccinated as kids and then never have to worry about it. In this case we are interacting with a virus and through vaccination are potentially / inadvertently charting its future course. Perhaps regular flu vaccinations were complicit in the formation of H1N1A1.

I don’t have kids, but if I did I would probably opt for home schooling (if possible) before I would go down the vaccination route. That would also require that I am very careful not to bring the virus home, or at least minimize the chances of infecting my children.

I’m not inclined to theorize conspiracies, but I often wonder if the vaccination movement has more to do with the GDP than it does with public health in the long term. There’s big money to be lost from sick leave, and big money to be gained from the manufacture of a billion flu shots.

Default Mercury in Vaccines

...now states are making special exemptions for including mercury in H1N1 vaccines!

Now if they freeze the vaccine and use it quickly (and it would get used quickly, since the shortage is the excuse for including Thermosil) why the need to use a preservative, anyway?

Okay, here's Illinois (aka the State of Chicago)

http://www.idph.state.il.us/about/Me...H1N1_09-10.pdf

Quote:

NOW COMES, the Department of Public Health (hereinafter, the "Department"), by and through Damon T. Arnold, Director, pursuant to the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act, 410 ILCS 51/1 et seq., sets forth this Exemption Declaration, and herein, states as follows:

RECITALS

WHEREAS, pursuant to 20 ILCS 2305/2, the Department "has general supervision of the interests of the health and lives of the people of the State" of Illinois; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to 410 ILCS 315/2, the Department has been charged with upholding "the public policy of this State that all children shall be protected, as soon after birth as medically indicated, by the appropriate vaccines and immunizing procedures to prevent communicable diseases which are or which may in the future become preventable by immunization"; and

WHEREAS, the State of Illinois has recognized and acknowledged through the Communicable Disease Prevention Act, 410 ILCS 315/1, that the general usage of "effective, safe and widely used vaccines and immunization procedures have been developed and are available to prevent …diseases and to limit their spread"; and

WHEREAS, historically in Illinois, local health departments and private providers have provided immunization services to adults, children and other high risk individuals since the mid-1970’s. The vaccines are purchased by the individual providers or local health departments with local funds; and

WHEREAS, the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act, 410 ILCS 51/5, has set forth that any mercury-containing vaccines that contain more than 1.25 micrograms of mercury per dose are to be banned commencing on January 1, 2006; and

WHEREAS, the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act, 410 ILCS 51/5, has set forth that no person shall be vaccinated with a vaccine or injected with any product that contains, or prior to dilution, had contained as an additive, any mercury based product, whether at preservative or trace amount levels.

WHEREAS, the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act at 410 ILCS 51/10 also provides that the Department "may exempt the use of a vaccine from this Act if the Department finds that an actual or potential bio-terrorist incident or other actual or potential public health emergency, including an epidemic or shortage of supply of a vaccine…., makes necessary the administration of a vaccine containing more mercury than the maximum level set forth in subsection (a) or subsection (b) of Section 5 in the case of influenza vaccine."

WHEREFORE, after conducting a review of vaccines containing thimerosal, the Department Hereby Declares an EXEMPTION to the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act for use of the following vaccines: "H1N1 Influenza Vaccine".

IN SUPPORT of this Exemption to the vaccines, the Department states as follows:

In evaluating the basis for the Exemption for each of the H1N1 vaccines, the Department established that the vaccine was procured directly by the federal government for administration of the voluntary pandemic mass vaccination program. Current manufacturing processes limit the total amount of preservative-free product that is currently available to private and public sector providers in the U.S. Each state will receive an allocation of H1N1 vaccine that includes multiple formulations from multiple manufacturers. Allocations are pro rata and not negotiable. The Department concludes that inadequate amounts of H1N1 influenza vaccine containing less than 1.25 micrograms of preservative exist to meet the needs of the emergency response to the H1N1 Influenza Pandemic.

The Department concludes an exemption for use of any H1N1 Influenza vaccine exceeding the above level is needed due to response to the H1N1 Influenza Pandemic.

Accordingly, the Department, by and through its Director, pursuant to Section 10 of the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act, hereby exempts the use of the following vaccines: "H1N1 Influenza Vaccine" from the requirements of the Mercury-Free Vaccine Act. This Exemption is applicable from the date of signature until June 30, 2010 and may be reissued or amended upon further determination by the Department.

California:

Quote:

SACRAMENTO – Kim Belshé, secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency, today issued the following statement regarding her decision to issue an exemption allowing the use of influenza vaccine containing mercury for children under age 3 for up to six weeks. Pursuant to AB 2943 (Chapter 837, Statutes of 2004), the Legislature allowed for an exemption to the law so parents have options for vaccination during times of short supply, if desired.

Other states are following suit. This "exemption" includes vaccines they would plug into babies and pregnant women, and especially is for school-aged kids. In my area, numerous school districts have already sent home permission slips to shoot up the kids with this garbage (not mentioning, of course, that they'd be getting shot up with Hg).

Why bother having the rule about no mercury, when they're just going to declare a bad hair day and make an exemption? Ah yes, to appease the masses. Make the rule to make them feel good; just don't forget to give yourself a backdoor so you can ignore it at will.

One more reason this "cure" is going to be worse than the "disease"! Squalene? Mercury? Live virus?

What next?

More people have died from cancer this year to date than from the swine flu. Never had a flu shot, let alone a swine flu shot. My immune system is pretty strong and if I can't survive the flu my genes should be unapologetically removed from existence.

Ehhhh...they say potato, I say carbohydrate. They say swine flu, I say bullshat. I don't know. I guess I'm just too fed up, with the scare tactics, to care about what the next phase of "Population Control" tricks entails.

How many people die, each year, from the flu? Didn't I read that it is about 30,000?
But, let's forget about illness related fatalities for a moment. How many people die in alcohol related traffic accidents/incidents each year? Why isn't more done to prevent such a vast loss of life from booze?
Could it be that politicians have ties to the shareholder side of alcohol manufacturing, or too many ties to the Wallstreet bankers with ties to alcohol manufacturing? All of which is advertised "extremely heavily" now. Hmmmm...me thinks so.
My opinion only.

Before I was sidetracked, my point was only that they are going to focus on scaring the sheep into submission, even if it means not reporting deaths from all other means of dying. They need acceptance of their policies and their faulty vaccines. It is in their best interests to keep us un-informed (dumb).
