I'm actually pretty sure I had the swine flu recently. A few weeks ago I had the flu, and I was sicker than I've been in many years. It lasted about 2 1/2 weeks. I just quarantined myself (easy for me because I can work from home), got lots of rest, took lots of hot showers, drank lots of hot tea, took lots of dayquill/nyquill, and chatted with you guys. Now I'm back to 100%.

It wasn't that bad for me, at least not life threatening, but I can't be completely sure that swine flu is what I had. I didn't go to the doctor, because the doctors here are worst, most incompetent doctors I've ever even heard of. Plus there's very little treatment they can do for swine flu anyway. Doctors pretty much tell you to do exactly what I did.

I have signed up for at the hospital I work at for the injection. You can also get the nasal spray which it lists as not inactivated like the regular flu. My daughter got the nasal spray the other day and ran a high flu for a couple days this was the regular flu shot. Not sure if swine flu shot is same way way but not taking any chances with the nasal spray.

Shots are killed virus. Nasal sprays are live virus. Both H1N1 version and standard flu innoculations use that.

Celtic, yeah the nasal spray is much more dangerous normally in any vaccination. I told my daughters mom next time she comes with me because she is much braver with me around. lol

If I get it I get it!.If I don't I don't!.I don't care either way!.

To live is Christ and to die is gain.
