I love it when those go on sale. CVS and RiteAid often run those specials too, on HP, Alcohol, and sometimes Witch Hazel. For .30 to .40 cents, who can pass up that deal to stock up their medicine chests and first aid kits? Thanks for the tip. I didn't notice it in the local ad this week!

As I posted on the other forum, HP is also a good replacement for "Oxi-Clean" in your laundry and other cleaning chores, as well as an effective teeth whitener (swish a capful for ~10 minutes, spit, rinse). Good find, Copper!

My local walgreens was running the same deal, I went up to town a little while ago for hydrogen peroxide for my ears, and was pleasantly surprised to find this! HP is great for dissolving earwax.

If unopened, does it have unlimited shelf life? I have had few bottles, but once opened it fizzled out as I used only little of it. After a while once opened HP would not do a thing.

It makes a good mouth rinse too... One cap full mixed with three times the amount of water will kill just about all germs in your mouth and leave ur teeth super white after a few weeks of use. My dentist said it's safe too.

Since it's in a opaque bottle which protects it from sunight and it's sealed, I would think that at room temperature, it would last forever. The only way that hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) becomes useless is when the extra oxygen molecule is released making it H2O (water) and O2 (oxygen). The primary way that this occurs is when it comes in contact with a catalyst causing this chemical reaction (such as catalase, an enzyme found in blood - that's the bubbling reaction you witness when it's poured on a cut or a scrape). In the bottle, there is no reaction and therefore should remain 100% indefinitely. Just my logic....
