Default saw turkeys today

I see turkeys several times per week, all over the place. today I pulled over to check a map, and there were three in the back of a parking lot. 40 or 50 years ago, there wasn't a single turkey in NH; they were re-introduced and now they are EVERYWHERE!

I think I want to move to NH. Wild apples trees, wild wheat, huge blackberries, and now wild turkeys. Kevin, that is so cool. I've never seen a turkey in the wild. Thanks for the pic. Oh, I almost forgot, Ron and Kevin live there too, two more wild things to add to the list. LOL

WOW! I didn't know that. They are everywhere! I see them by the highway. We have them in the yard in the morning. They are cool to watch.

Yeah buddy, turkeys here also. When I was growing up there were no whitetail deer or turkey around in east Tn. Now they are everywhere.

What is interesting is that all the tree huggers "dislike terribly" ie: hate, hunters and now fishermen because we harm wildlife. Truth is our license fees are what enabled the restocking of these animals and without said fees we probably still would not have these beautiful food supliments available,

I believe the NH Fish and Game Dept, who among other things conduct hunter ed and sell hunting and fishing licenses, were responsible for the re-introduction of turkeys here.

I live in NH also. I could go out any day of the week and get pics for you all of 100's of wild turkeys living around here year around. Just over a mile away from me is a field with so many turkeys you really can't count them all. I see them regularly on the side of the road, stopping traffic to watch them pass etc.

Down the road from the hospital I work at there so abundant its incredible.

Around these parts of NH your driving down the road and a big mom or dad stands in the middle of the road stopping all traffic. We sit in our cars until dozens of babies cross then mom/dad turkey leave the road and we continue on. The wild geese are incredible this season also. They congregate in a school soccer field just down the road from me in the dozens. Seriously, there so regular I don't think to get pics of them.

Sometimes I have about 12 walk through my yard. My dogs go nuts in the house because they hear them. I look outside and sure enough there everywhere.

Y'all are all definitely in the right elements. And what do I have to share with y'all that visited me in my yard today while cutting the grass, hundreds of damn love bugs swarming around me. Two days ago it was mosquitos, I had to quit cutting the grass, ground was too wet and mosquitos were everywhere. What can I say guys, no comparison. LOL
