Default 5 gallon buckets

I know a lot of places sell these, ie: emergency essentials, etc. but I have found a great source for mine, the local BBQ joints, they buy a lot of sauce and the resulting buckets are food grade. A little bleach, water and sunshine- good as new. I pay a buck apiece .

I stop by the Burger Kings in my area. They're thrilled to get rid of the pickle buckets (5-gallon). Some come with lids (fully functional with a rubber gasket) and some don't. I don't refuse the buckets without lids so as not to appear TOO picky. The ones with lids work great for sealing up food items. The ones without lids work great organizing things in the garage. If I accumulate too many, not to worry; the dumpster at BK will accept them! The best part: they're FREE for the asking.

Oh, and once in a while, I get a few free leftover pickles in the deal!

Well I did spend on the lids for my buckets found another site with some good deals on water barrels and gamma seal lids.
Some of the buckets had lids, others did not, but I ended up putting gamma seals on all so far.

You might want to check them out also

Those gamma seal lids are great and really convenient if you are opening a bucket to use your supplies.

Gamma Seal Lids Low as $3.98 ea - 3.5 Gallon Plastic Buckets & Pails White
