Here's a link to the Emergency Essentials site, in case somebody doesn't feel like googling it.

I just picked up 6 5gal. pickle buckets from local restrauants. I just put on my brave face and went around asking for them. some have lids some do not but that's okay, I can find lids. Some of the places are even going to save a couple for me with lids that I can pick up next week. I'm very excited about this. I also ordered some mylar bags and oxgeninators from Wendy Mae's
WendyMae's Simpler Living - Big Berkey, The Country Living Grain Mill, Food Storage Planner Software, Mylar Bags, Oxygen Absorbers
I had checked a couple of different sites and these were the least expensive. Since I am on a very tight budget right now I felt that this is really all I could afford to do. cut right in to my grocery bill but I feel it's an important item and something I need to do for myself.

Good deal!

That looks like a good sight too.
I've been wanting some of the 1 gallon bags. LDS has a great price but you have to get 250 of them for about $100. I haven't decided if I want that many or if I want to spend $100 on mylar bags just yet. Guess they don't go bad.

I may have to visit some restaurants soon....hehehehe

I had to call and cancel my order. I'm so bummed! I didn't realize that a bill came in that I wasn't expecting this pay peroid so I had to cancel. She was great about it tho. Very nice gal. I'll re-order again when I can. At least I got the buckets! These things happen sometimes.

I got some food grade bucket for free from a local bakery and they were happy to give them to me when I told them I was going to use them to store food and make dill pickles and corn meats.
