What's the weight of the pack? Do you have seasonal items that you swap out for other items?

I'm still working on the contents of my small kit. Condor Tear Away EMT pouch. That's a great pack!!

Nice! I've been wanting a camo tarp. Or I may just get a few yards of multi cam fabric to help hide in plain sight. Funny, I always assume that if I'm using my BOB that I don't want to be found....

If you go with the fabric you can use 100%silicon caulking cut with mineral spirits and spray or brush on to waterproof. It is a project on my to do list too!

Slade nice BOB example you are well prepared!

That's a pretty good looking load-out.
Did you ever consider a small waterproof bag with a few changes of underwear and socks. Could make all the difference to feeling better about yourself. Need to take care of the person as well as the body !

man thats good packing, it gives me a couple of good ideas.

as to the sugestion of socks and undies and such, i use my vacuum sealer and seal them individually in small bags, not only does it reduce the space they take it also means even if you fall in a river they stay dry.

i would recommend a vacuum sealer to everyone, they are not just for food

Good point Garret. never thought about vac sealing things like that, but it makes sense. Like most simple things - I only catch on when they slap me in the face !

2lb bannock (one is my morning mix and the other is my dinner mix), 6 cups instant rice (makes 12 cups of rice), 1lb beef jerky, 1lb nut heavy trailmix, 4 hard granola bars, 1lb instaint coffee, 14 tea bags (have to have my tea)

Thats it. gives me enough for a little over 2 weeks.
