Many of you like to post links to YouTube videos. You may have noticed that sometimes I go into your post and embed these videos right into the post, so that readers do not have to leave the page in order to watch.

Here's how you can embed your own:

Step One

Find the unique code that goes with the YouTube video you want to embed on your post.

This code is found in your browser address bar. It consists of a jumble of numbers, digits, and underscores that can be seen in the URL as shown in this picture outlined in red.

Here it reads "v=iBk9seLj3O4" We want the portion after the "=". In this case that is iBk9seLj3O4




Step Two

Type the following text into the post you are making on the forum:




Step Three

Between the start and end brackets, enter the code for the YouTube Video like this:



When you click the "Save" button to save your post, your video will be magically embeded. Please note that I do not necessarily endorse this guys behavior, and am only using his video as an example.



BTW, I was having some difficulty posting this tutorial, since entering the code on how to embed the video was actually embedding the video and I could not find a work-a-round. I finally settled on using images to show the code.
