I click on the statistics but only see the public messages. Not that anythings secret but I was asked for my address not long ago and couldnt get to PM so I didnt respond. I didnt mind sending it to the member but dont really want it up for everyone.

You were probably logged off. Sometimes, when I am perusing the forum, when I get involved reading a particular thread, I end up getting logged off, and when I check someone's profile, I don't see the PM function, but then I realize I am logged off, and then re-log back in, and *poof* there it is. It actually makes that noise too!
