Is there a way to adjust this option somewhere, so it doesn't log me out so quickly? I looked through the user CP options but didn't see this one listed anywhere, which isn't to say it isn't there, just that I apparently couldn't locate it on my own.

make sure you check "remember me" when loggin in.

Short of doing what Kevin suggested, there is nothing you can do. V-Bulletin "time out" may be able to be adjusted by the Administrator though. Refreshing from time to time when you are reading a lot will keep you from timing out, or "viewing who's on line" will automatically refresh (handy when you are working at your desk and unable to participate as often).

Meh, I'm long winded, so most of my auto log outs are happening while I'm typing my long posts....lol

Yeah it is something the Admins would need to adjust from within the settings of the forum software itself.

By default, it is set to 15 minutes.

If you can help it, try and type your posts externally in your desktop notebook, or whatever because it WILL happen one day... that you will have this long drawn out post with a lot of good info that you worked hard to share, and you will accidentally hit some button that will exit out of that window and you will lose EVERYTHING!

This has happened to me a couple of times...
