I tried to upload an animated avatar and it won't let us. Is it possible to allow us to do that?...pretty please!

I tried an animated gif avatar a couple weeks ago too. It wouldn't let me either. I'ma guess the ability is disabled in the site software (Admin(s) probably have an option whether to allow them or not). Ron may not allow them on purpose as some folks may think they're distracting.
