the idea of making sure to consume all the rabbit brain included may have come from areas like this,. if you are forced to a winter survival situation then you had better accept that rabbit and only rabbit will be on the menu.. there is just nothing else unless you have a rifle and or the knowledge and gear available to make snares or deadfalls for larger animals. some of the natives and early settlers were forced into this diet on occasion and by eating all of the rabbit they could usually survive till spring. as long as the cycle was high enough to provide enough rabbit.

Hhmm, a while back I read a comment from someone who showed absolute disdain for people who comment and give suggestions when they absolutely don't know what they are talking about, and hence mislead someone to perhaps start to think a certain [dangerously wrong] way, or just be misinformed, and then preach that as they then went on and shared that info.

Now don't get me wrong, I think that even when people who don't know what they're talking about but still have the balls to offer their opinions is a good thing, provided they state it as such, an opinion, as in IMHO.

Stating things that you make up as fact is dangerous... IMHO. Be careful, and be your brothers keeper.
