| I'm Back
Got back a few days ago. Didn't get anything this year, but i had fun with my buddies. ate like a king with steaks and eggs and fish, and had a lot of laughs. I did however go home with some deer, moose, and caribou meats and I gotta tell ya, caribou is freakin awesome! we were out in the woods for a few days on my buddy's land. used a whole lot of doe piss (i was out during the rut) to get them bucks to come out.....didnt see one. i did however attract a whole family of does. could've easily shot them but i didnt have the tag for does nor did i want my first one to be a doe. oh well. maybe next year i'll get somethin. pics of me, our camp, and my buddies.....

Sounds like you had a great time!! You needed a nice break and you got some nice take home prizes.  I've never had caribou. Did your friends get any deer?

Oh yea this getaway was long overdue. Especially after I got put on administrative leave from my job last week cause I flipped out on my boss, damn near lost my job (what do i gotta do to get fired??!!). but hey I got a paid week off from it so it was nice of them to pay for my little vacation. My buddies got deer but they did before I went up. And caribou beats moose and deer by a landslide.
