Default Gettin' Ready for the Hunt
Packin' my stuff tonight. Headin out tomorrow to New York for my hunting trip. 5 days of nothing but woods, friends, and hopefully getting my first buck, didn't get one last year This year it's gonna be non-stop hard hunting. Got my 12 gauge, and my 30-odd.

Wish me luck!

New York here I come.

Good luck. This warm weather up here is screwing things up, the deer are only moving at night. I went out this morning and saw and heard nothing but I did watch an a great horned owl eat a turkey.

Ya owls are pretty cool. First strike the owl took the turky's head clean off, then it ripped of the turky's wings and then flew up into a bull pine with the body. Even without the hunting I love being out in the woods before first light because there is so much going on.
