Hey Celtic, thanks for the stop by. Yeah, I've been busy...for all the wrong and right reasons. Baby's coming...so that should always be a good thing. But I'm also trying to find a new job...and where I'm at, that's not a very good thing.

So to review...baby coming and lost the job. Not a good combination for the stress level. But hey, that's life now isn't it? Adapt and overcome is the motto, isn't it? lol.

Technically, it is one step below the site administrator (Ron), and above a general Mod which would have similar, but slightly fewer, powers. In reality, it means virtually nothing. All of the mods have that as a title. For a long time, I didn't have a title, just Senior Member like many people. That was changed for me by my fellow mods, but not at my request. It's a nice honor, but other than standing a post and watchdogging the site for unwelcome spammers and banning folks who get out of hand, I am no different than any other member.

If he allows direct pay with V/MC and it says "Secure Site" or something similar, yes it should be safe to do so. PayPal basically is a system to have your creditcard info buried inside an encryption they use, and then they validate and verify that you have the appropriate funds and send the secure "ok" to the seller for payment. It's free to set up on the PayPal site, and can come in handy for ebay and other online purchases so you might want to see about setting an account up with them in any event.
