You can never replace a good friend like that.Getting another dog for me when one passes is not a option.This is how i stay sane and how i honor the fallen comrade.

hi pete spike here, a very very good breed is a german short hair, sorry for your loss. these dogs are as cool as they come, im on my first gsp and she is training me every day, if i could only teach her to drive......chk out you tube on gsp's...enjoy...look forward to chattin wit cha pete...

well I have a little boston terrier, that I got almost a year bofore my boy Rocky passed, so no more dogs for a while but if I were to get another rottie it would have to be a few years down the road, or I think I would just get that feeling of trying to replace him, and he was to good of a companion for that. but I think that the Rottie if from a responsible breeder, is a phenominal breed, inteligent, protective,loving, playful and the list could go on.

Pete,are you going to look into another rottie?After we had our litter of rotties i raised a Belgium sheperd that would of been the best dog i ever owned but woulnt let anyone,not even my father near me without viciously attacking them.He finally gave a girlfriend 80 stitches in her face.He was not trained to be that way was the sad part his blood line was Scetzun trained dogs and i quess it sunk in...after that,litter of Labs!!That was fun raising in my tiny 2nd floor apartment at the time!LOL

awww man im very sorry for your loss.I have lost many great friends over my time.My last was my best friend in the world.She died of lyme,we were so close i considered taking my life when she left me.She was more faithful than any human ive met in my life.I know your loss amigo and i will pray tonighte that hes running around with my girl havin a blast!
