I used to tell my wife about Paw Paws, we went there as a kid, i tried to take her there and they closed down.I guess it was about 10 or so years ago.It was sad.We always stopped and ate there on the way to see grandparents and ggrandma in nola.It seems like most of my childhood places are closed down now.

My wife is researching parks to camp in that area(her & kids will be going) but we probably would do best to camp in wild, (they really move & feed @ night). Guns are even permitted on there State Parks from what I understand(for protection). No limits on Python/Anaconda/or Monitors kills, just can't take none alive. all legal weapons are permitted. They have large Eastern Diamondback, Cottonmouth, Copperhead, & Coral snakes so hip boots might be a good idea. Got to go preach, talk to you after Church, GOD Bless!
