I'm located in the N.W. corner of the stare. I'm near a small town called Garfield about 15 miles east of rogers and about 5 miles south of MO. I'm in Benton county and the taxes are high here want to move east about 15 miles to Carol county about 1/3 of what I pay here.

Yea, I figure I have enough to worrry about with tornados every time it storms...no point in adding insult to injury with flooding! If you ever get in the area, give a holler...I don't live fancy by any means, but hey, the cooking is great and its comfortable!!

I am WAAAAYYYY above the flooding level in Missouri. I live in southern Callaway County, about 500+ foot above the River flood plain. That is one thing I always was careful about. No point in living where my place could be habitated by the fish!! LOL!! Thanks for the concern, tho. If you follow a map, I am about 12 miles north/northeast of Jefferson City (as the crow flies). Beautiful country with lots of rolling hills and ridges with lots of woods and green pastures.
