Default High Peak Enduro 4-season tent

Has anyone used any of the "High Peak" products?

I'm eyeing the "Enduro" 4-season tent and their "Extreme Pak" 0-degree sleeping bag. It seems that they are of decent quality (based upon reviews on-line) and excellent price. It also seems that at least one of their distributors has excellent customer communications - I emailed them a few questions and received back a prompt and detailed answer.

I haven't seen or heard of these products (not one of the big name brands) but I'd like to give them a chance.

Lets hear if anyone has any experience with their products!

I don't know, but member "Alpine" is a winter mountaineer who may very well have a good opinion for you.

If you can afford it, the lighter the better in tents and sleeping bags also
smaller is better in packing size.

Unless your above tree line you really don't need a winter tent "most" of
the time even in winter.

For instance me and the wife can squeeze into this one man tent.
(This one is a four season tent)

HILLEBERG AKTO Tent Review

I would use this on any north cascade peak in the summer for both of
us. Weight is 3.5 pounds and could be lighter.

For winter usage I am not sure we can get our bigger pads and sleeping
bags in there, but I am going to try it out in the yard and see.

Of course you would not want to ride out a long storm in one of these.
The vestibule has enough room for both of our gear and even room to use
a stove in the vestibule if you had to.

The thing is tight to fit in , even for a couple,

I prefer double wall over single wall in general, this tent is very warm tent and practically bomb proof for wind.

Look at this site if I was going to do it over I would look very hard at
the four season tents from this company.

Lastly free standing tents are better in usage, but I go for lightness first myself.
