Hi All,
Brand new here, to answer the last post, get your Ham license and get on the air. Morse code is still the most efficient in terms of equipment complexity and needed power. Presuming that your not taking your computer into the woods of course.
Best,
Rob

Could someone post some videos or audio where I can hear SOS being tapped out, or maybe a few other important yet simple universal messages, maybe something like "need medic", "need water", or maybe even saying something classy like "kiss my butt" or "eat crap"?

I would like to at least know a couple universally understood signals that I can use by tapping hard objects together.

It begs the question though, how many people know Morse code?
Police, firefighters, armed forces? Any educated guesses out there?
Well, I do know it was required learning when I went to school to get my Medic's license and also when I got my HAM radio license as well so any HAM operator has to be proficient in Morse. When I got my license 10 years ago, the minimum was 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy before you could continue.

I think all first responders should be at least this proficient in Morse.
