Angry

Ive read a bunch of stuff on there one day. How to make your own acid [trippin kind] and a Bic pen with the button on the end, you install a strike anywhere match too inside, and roll sandpaper, rough side against the match and fill with gunpowder. Also hot glue a shotgun shell to a door and then a thumbtack on the wall. You open the door and the primer hits the point. OUCH!

I don't know if I would trust them much with shortened sticks. They are already pretty unpredictable with the longer sticks, the shorter ones might just come back and bite you..

They just pack better that way. I dont mind the short sticks but short fuses are a different manner. I light em and pitch em straight straight up. Have thrown hundreds, no bottle needed..

Oh, yes, because explosives in your backpack is SUCH a good idea. How about, you know, signal mirrors? Or a nice little thing called a GPS, those work too, you know... or I suppose in some SHTF scenarios satellites wouldn't be working so you're screwed there... I think I may be one of the few survivalists that's better at rigging explosives than reading a map, so I'd be screwed there. You know, something that makes a bang might not be such a bad idea, actually.

Am I hearing a little sarcasm in your voice? I think I have better sense than to blow my pack up . I wouldnt have a problem at all carrying bottle rockets. If anyone else does then dont!

Yeah my pack catches fire like every time I go outdoors. I should probably just stay home.

JK. Keeping them dry would be my biggest problem.

Umm... okay, I won't. I'll carry Nitroglycerin and C4 instead, cause that's how I roll .

Okay, I'll be serious now... No, if you keep them from igniting and don't do something stupid, it's fine. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm just saying I'd rather not risk something going wrong and having a big hole in my back, you know?

Um! What is Um suppose to mean? We have friendly disagreements on here and not sarcasm and attempts to make others look stupid. You resurected the thread made before you were around so you could make smart[or dumb] comments about it. Carry your nitro and c4, I fail to get your humor in it.

Well, staying relevant to the question and thread at hand. Bottle rockets I like it stairman. I can see where a few would come in handy in your survival tin which is void of moisture. Plus, just carrying the rocket sections in a survival kit only and not the sticks for compactness would be useful. If you needed them you could just use some medical tape and a straight branch to shoot them with accuracy. Had a thought while typing about wrapping them in wet, green, pine bows to produce more smoke.
