Its so good to see people help people.
I gave a firesteel to a camping friend of mine, he first tried it on a cotton wool ball, it went up and so did the table cloth.
I gave it to him because the only ones we could find were incredibly expensive and he couldn't afford one, it's cheaper for me to order them from you than buy them locally. Thanks for making them affordable and at least one person has already benifitted from your generosity.
I'll be ordering more.

Ron, thank you so much. First this wonderful site and now this...I am speechless. As I have stated in a thread or two on here I am now giving survival related stuff to friends for their birthdays from now on. I think I now know exactly what folks will be getting from me this year. they are a good deal even when you mess up the customs allowances like I did. I was working on last years rate not this years so it cost me the equivalent of 6 bucks in taxes and 12 bucks in fees. it would have been cheaper to get it sent back and ask ron to relabel it for me but I didn't think that was fair on him.

next order I'll know better and ask for it to be valued at 28 bucks total.

BTW, Your "Ranger" model out sparks by a long shot my Army Firesteel that is over an inch longer & twice as thick by another manufacturer. I'll post a video on youtube of a "showdown" to show all how good your pruduct is & how bad the others are. I burned a hole in the mica counter here at work showing some of the crew...*oops*...these things go off like a sparkler.

After chancing upon your site and reviewing it extensively, I placed an order only moments ago for two firesteels for lanyard, the 550 paracord and the scrapers. Not knowing the lifetime of the scrapers, I ordered 4.
Your products are definitely going into my and my son's backpacks!

You're welcome guys. I really want to get these FireSteels out there as I feel the ability to start fires in adverse conditions is very important.

I've never worn one of these FireSteel Scrapers out, but it cannot hurt to have a few extra.

As good as the scrapers work, I've designed a new FireSteel scraper that works even better than the ones shown. They should be ready for shipment within a couple of weeks. As of now, anyone who orders scrapers will receive the new version as soon as they are ready. In the meantime the FireSteels they order will be shipped within 24 - 48 hours as usual.
