A number of you have asked about making a FireSteel Tube for the Bunker 1/2 x 5-inch FireSteel.

Well, I just finished posting them on our sister site, FireSteel.com. I have to say these FireSteel tubes are incredible, monstrous even.

In fact the Bunker FireSteel Tube actually doubles as an excellent Kubotan for close-in self defense!

I have the Armageddon one (firesteel tube)

For those consider this - I STRONGLY encourage you to get it! You will not be disappointed.

It is one of the neatest / useful things. The tube is amazing and extremely well crafted. Hands down you will not find anything like this or this quality on the market. The Tube/Firesteel is something you can bet your life on when you need it.

Once I save some cash - the bunker tube is getting added to my gear guaranteed!

I have a few survival firesteels, and the Armageddon which I love!! I am going to to order the Bunker Tube this weekend. I got two people wanting to buy The Firesteel PuP tubes, when they saw mine and wanted them!!!

AHA! Good call there JG! I have been guilty as well. I only ever go to FireSteel so I guess I'm guilty of something there lol

I think in theory they are supposed to be the same stuff, but it looks like some stuff slipped passed Ron (He IS human after all! )

As you pointed out, the first site has the survival tube, the second does not. The first one also does NOT have the bunker tube up yet (2nd one does.)

Ron, I recieved my survival tube a couple of days ago. That is pure quality, even that one could be used for a weapon if I had to. I think I'd like to get an Armageddon also.

Mac, I concur! I have the armageddon firesteel tube that stays in my car and the ranger firesteel tube I carry in my backpack or survival kit. I can see the bunker tube as the ultimate all season camping fire starter or as a heck of a defensive weapon. Am definetly going to get one down the road for sure! What amazes me most about the tubes is just how well the firesteels stay in place no matter what and the unsurpassed quality.As soon as you put one in your hand you just have that feeling of "wow this is designed to last and last and last". In answer to some of your questions:

FireSteel.com and SurvivalTopics.com are sister websites, both part of the Survival Topics family.

When I aquired the sought after domain name "FireSteel.com" it was quite a coup as one-word domains are generally no longer available (more on this later!).

It takes time to post new gear into the store section. The Bunker FireSteel Tube will soon be placed in the Survival Topics Gear section too.

The Survival size FireSteel Tube is being phased out, since it is similar to the Armageddon Tube and causing some confusion.
