That's amazing ,1000 members!!

1000 individuals who have joined this little group,shared their ideas, and learned a new thing or two.

I know I have learned A LOT from ya'll.
Before I found this site, I had no idea how to build a fire w/o matches.Now, I can build a fire using 3 types of tinder,dig and use a dakota fire pit, and navigate by the stars. I'm still gonna build a debris shelter this fall and try it out.
Right now, I'm busy 'skeet shooting-i.e. shooting mosquitos with RAID

I used to be a lurker and learnt so much but joining enabled me to ask the questions I was overflowing with and to contribute my teeny tiny bit. It does feel like a family here (even the hurt feelings and shared joy/pain).

I was bragging about having 400 members not long ago. If Im not mistaken October is the birth month of the site, 1 year old. Not sure of the date and wonder who the first few members were. Im cracking a Corona with a lime wedge to celebrate.

So, when SHTF at least we know that we will not have an Adam & Eve scenario.

There will be at least 1,000 of us (+ our families), not just "2"

I hate being angry at our government. I hate being scared of what the too near future may hold for us all. But most of all I hate trying to cope with all this chaos on my own.

I feel the comradarie of all on here. We laugh together, feel each other's pain and inspire and offer support to each other in our times of need.

We're our own Wipedia. If we don't know we ask. If we do know we share with others.

We laugh, we laugh till we cry, we laugh till we pee on ourselves. That in itself helps alot.

I say thanks to Ron for giving us this outlet where a sense of belonging is prevalent. I say thanks to the 1000 and counting for being here for each other and taking the time to show you care, and I say GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
