He just emailed. He's been out in the woods, but my order has already been processed; somebody just didn't update the "order status" spot. I ought to get my order today.

10 Ranger firesteels (for the sheathes of the knives I make)
3 button compasses (for Altoids mini survival kits)
3 mini firesteels (ditto)

For all of you; I just got and oder of goodies to make christmas presents a friend ordered (neck kits consisting of 550 paracord wrapped magnesium, ranger firesteels, and super scrapers). My point is that I tried one of his superscrapers and WOW I'm absoutely kicking myself for not getting myself some. IMO there's no longer an need for the other kind, these are just so much better. you can strike quite easy and get a poof; or strike hard and get floor dancing sparks

Kevin, I got some of the super scraper's. I agree, they are great. I tried it with my nice new Bunker (drool slobber) and - Oh WOW. A waterfall of sparks.
They are superb. Great for my keyring !

I can't believe I didn't piggyback a few on my buddy's order not sure what I was thinking. Next order I'll add a few for sure!
