Not bad to bring this to everyone's attention again, there was a post on this already back in March. Looks like there are at least another million votes on it since then though :)

So, in 4 months, the poll has shifted up by a whole 1% point? LOL (back then it was stuck on 96%).

The 2nd amendment does NOT give us the right to bear arms.

That right is a "God Given" right, for lack of a better term, for all mankind.

The 2nd amendment is a pledge by the US government that it will not attempt to infringe on this right.

This is very important to understand.

We have a natural right to own guns. And the US Government promised never to try and take that right from us by law or by force. The founding fathers of the United States knew that guns keep us free.

Indeed. Much like the middle ages, how dare you keep a sword, you're not in the kings' army! This ideology has to end sometime.
