proof there is a god. almost an omen, a good politician? oh hell you all know what that means? teotwawki has begun. politicians are going to start doing good, the pres is going to actually fix something, congress is going to help the people for once, i dont know if i can live in a world where im not getting screwed by the govt daily. lol i guess it had to end sometime. hopefully this will catch on to other politicians.

I am friends with Evan Nappen he was one of the key people in helping to beat the new knife laws that the US. Boarder Patrol tried to sneak through this year that would have band just about any knife that could be opened with 1 hand. Jennifer is awsome my wife has taken some of her classes and these are the type of people you want on your side. Evan has a great book out on state to state knife laws and your rights to carry them.

I don't know much about her. What kind of classes does she teach?
I think she just got elected... or was it re-elected last year?

I think this was in large part due to the efforts of AKTI - American Knife and Tool Institute. You can see more of this subject at their site.

Still it depends largely on each individual states laws.

She and the Second Amendment Sisters host and teach a lot of women only fire arm classes.
Evan was one of the only non corprate lawyers involved in the blocking of this bill. ( AKTI ) used their legal team and then people like Evan consulted with companies like Kershaw and Benchmade and other, He was the person who got a lot of the trade unions involved ( carpenters, lineman pipe fitters and so on). These unions explained that having knives that could be opened with one hand where a mattter of safety. This law was not about automatic knives the wording covered ANY knife that could be opened with one hand, Spyderco, CKRT, Cold Steel are just a couple. We are not even talking spring assisted knives. Being an AKTI member and ABANA member I followed this pretty closed.
