Default Interesting read about living without

When the SHTF, or on the chance that my life takes a turn for financial desparity, I hope that I would be able to do what this fellow has done and be as successful doing it.

Good article. Thanks. I think it would be a very hard life until you got used to it of course then it would just be "the daily grind" like anything else. I believe the mindset to live "off grid" is the most important thing. He seems to have it.

Nice story and many down to earth comments too.

True that it took him awful lot of time to do things we take for granted and give him credit for that, but without outside world he would not have many things that look like bare necessity but still need industrialised world to provide.

In essence we should try to USE LESS in our lives and that would be probably all we can do now.
