Yep, all fine here.

My feet remain dry for now.

I live in very northern bit of the most Northerly County in Ireland, so most of the heavy rain was well south of us.

There is a lot to be said for living up a hill and not on a flood plain.

A lot of the new housing built over the last few years here was on known flood plains. Go figure !!

The UK and Europe have been hit hard these past few years with unseasonable rainstorms, flooding, and other odd weather. Undoubtably shades of things to come. Hopefully all of our overseas members stay safe, and keep their BOB's handy in case of emergency.

Good luck and be safe over there my friends. My Mom was from Ireland, so I have a special place in my heart for Ireland. She was from Southern Ireland,
Ballyglossom, Piltown, County KilKenny.

Well, the heavy rain has eased off now - but the wind is picking up. Violent storms forecast for the areas worst hit by the rains. One thing after another.
I am travelling with work for the next few days in some of the flood areas.....so i should see some of the effects up close.....
