Today is the day to put pressure on the US Senator Blanche Lincoln to vote against the Health Care bill due for vote at 8PM tonight -- Saturday November 21, 2009.

The Democrats are distorting the Senate rules to shove this Health Care legislation through before the first of the year. The US Senate is designed by the US Constitution to be a check and balance in creating law. The Senate has established rules which require 60 of the 100 Senators to vote to consider legislation and 60 votes to agree to vote on legislation after debate. The Senate plan is to only require one vote requiring 60 votes -- tonight -- to consider a tiny fake bill of less than ten pages. Then the 2075 page Health bill will then be added to the fake bill and it will only require 50 votes to pass it later.

Yes it is confusing and yes it's being done on Saturday night on a holiday season weekend -- on purpose!

US Senator Blanche Lincoln may be the only Democrat to vote against the bill. That would leave them with only 59.

*******Anyone can contact Lincoln's office but those who live in Arkansas will have the most influence. Faxes and phone calls and showing up at her office are perhaps better than emails but anything is good. If you know anyone living in Arkansas it would be good to tell them to contact Lincoln.*******

Here in Maine Senator Snowe (Rep) has Voted Yes on the Bill,I belive the Health Care bill is going a little too fast!2075 pages of Red tape is a little Much I thinkwho has read all 2075 pages? What's " War in Peace" Pages I mean? I just Shake my head about this. Yes we need some kind of Health coverage,But so many up's and down's in this Bill. Sorry Venting!!!
