Hey Stairman, Haight Ashbury iwas Charlie Manson's old stomping grounds. Probably could hook up with some of his homies still waiting for him to be paroled. They had a lot of hideouts and were pros when it came to scavenging for food and whatever.

Okay, I started this, now it's my turn. I have $200 and I'm in SoCal, on the run. H'mmmmmm. I could head for a public library, where I'd get on the internet anonymously through their server and come here for help using PMs. If I could hook up with one of you or one of my friends from a Christian discussion board (using PMs again), it would be much easier to go underground. If that didn't work, I'd find a pay phone and try to contact someone from my past, someone I don't have current ties to (or the ties are so tenuous nobody could connect us) and see if I could get help from them.

I'd go to a bank, one with branches nationwide, and open a checking account in a false name. Then I'd call distant relatives and ask that they loan me money and deposit it in the account. I'd see if I could find a source for fake ID (should be easy to do in SoCal, especially in the poorer neighborhoods where illegals gather) and see if I could find someone willing to drive me to Arizona if I paid them. Once in Arizona, I have all sorts of resources that can't be connected to my normal life.
