 A reporter from the local paper just called...
I was just getting ready to sit down to dinner, and the telephone rang. Thinking is might be GFS calling home (HEY! Call your Mother!), I got up to answer it. To my surprise, it was NOT GFS (HEY! Call your Mother!). Instead, it was a reporter from the local newspaper. The reporter introduced himself, and said that Representative Dugan (our local State Representative) just issued a press release saying that a $270,000.00 grant had just been approved for my new Renewable Energy Technology training program (being developed at a nearby Community College). The purpose of the grant is soley for purchasing real-world renewable energy hardware to give the students real hands-on experience in their "lab exercises." Holy Crap!!! I'm Excited!!! I already have the lab stations designed...no rinky-dink, tinker-toy, table-top, training toys for MY program! WOOHOO-O-O-O-O-O-O!!!

Grats, TJ. Good to see some "incentive" programs actually WORKING for a change, and getting into the right hands. Make it count. I expect to see 98% efficiency solar panels and wind turbines that I can build in my garage and yet be powerful enough to run a small city. Oh, and if you have time, make sure you get to work on that Mr. Fusion thing from Back to the Future that runs timetraveling DeLoreans. If you have time, that is. No rush. Hehehe!
