      Received the five pack as gift for Xmas, the firesteels are fantastic and function great. Even the mini can produce a copious amount of sparks. Thanks guys for a wonderful addition to my gear.

      These firesteels has been the most effective and QUICKEST to start fires using napkins, bird nests, cotton balls, sun dried grass and other tinders.

      I bought the Ranger FireSteel (1/4 x 3-inches) and super glued and burned three wraps of 550 to one end with a knotted pig-tail (about 3.5"). This works excellent.

      These FireSteel.com FireSteels work as advertised and store easily. I keep a firesteel with my Victorinox in a button holster for every day carry.

      Outstanding product.

      If you only buy one piece of gear this summer buy firesteels from FireSteel.com or SurvivalTopics.com. These firesteels give the biggest, greatest sparks I have ever seen.

      Read some of the other reviews here. They are telling the truth! Great product, great service, fast shipping. What more could I want!

      First of all, be sure to use these ONLY outdoors! The sparks these firesteels give off are incredible!
