An interesting discussion on the all important survival topic of footcare. During the last two world wars “trench foot” took down many thousands of soldiers on both sides of the conflict. When you are out in adverse conditions it pays to take good care of your feet. In an extended survival situation taking proper care of your feet can save your life.

In the field you have to keep your feet as warm and dry as possible. This is not always easy. Also, should blisters or skin injuries occur they must be quickly addressed.
