Bivy Tent
A bivy tent is a cross between a bivy bag and a tent. Bivy tents give you room to move around in, though some may find the confined space a little claustrophobic.
Shown here is the Eureka Solitaire lightweight solo tent. This two hoop bivy tent has a shock corded fiberglass frame and weighs in at just two pounds nine ounces. The height inside the tent is two feet four inches.
The Solo Solitaire tent floor area is 21.33 square feet - two feet four inches wide by eight feet long. This is quite narrow and larger people may find the space a tight fit. The length of the tent will allow you to bring in some small items and perhaps your boots.
