Strike Force Fire Starter
More Articles Related to Survival GearFireSteels are the best fire starter used in all weather environments. Wet or cold even at high altitude, this fire starter may be more reliable than matches or butane lighter.
To use a firesteel you scrape down the length of the flint. This creates a hot spark, three times as hot as an ordinary match, which should easily catch fire to dry tinder.
The ability to build a fire is of utmost importance to the survivor. By all means, carry your matches and butane lighters. But when you need assurance that come what may your fire starting capabilities are not compromised, a FireSteel may be just what you want.

I was at a local out doors store and saw one of these firesteels. I HAD to have it. The first major test came in the local Klondike campout with the scouts. There was 7 feet of snow and it was around 14 degrees all day. During the fire building competition we were graded on the quality of fire and how many matches were used. I pulled out this baby and using twigs I got off of the local trees got a roaring fire started and singlehandedly beat the over 3/4 of all the scout troops. For all survivalists this is a MUST have. I plan on buying SEVERAL more (5 or 6 at least) and give them to my friends and family.

I plan on buying several more firesteels from you in the next two or three weeks. The best fire starter I've seen. The size is great. Want to get extras to give to family members and a friend in Arkansas.
