We all know the survivor keeps his vehicle tanked up with the proper fuel. That way when an emergency occurs his wheels are not on half empty - they are full - and he can move out with the assurance he can do what needs doing even when outside supply is out of the question.

The same thing goes with the fuel your body runs on. The successful survivor keeps his body topped off with the high quality fuel it needs for proper functioning. Then should an emergency occur, he starts out with the great advantage of being 100% physically able.

The successful survivor keeps himself well nourished at all times. Even when stocks of food are cut off for an extended period of time, his energy will last longer, he will think more clearly and be better able to face any emergency than his malnurished peers who start off with a deficit right from the beginning.

In the midst of plenty many people are in nutrional poverty. The high quality nutritional fuel your body runs on includes vegetable, fruits, grains, and good sources of protein. Without these building blocks your mental and physical ablities cannot be at 100% and you are short changing yourself.
